While serving as the Creative Director at Furn, I took on the challenge of designing a cutting-edge conference table, specifically tailored to meet the needs of our tech-oriented clients. This project coincided with ongoing interior design work for these clients, and a recurring issue we encountered in conference rooms was the lack of easy access to essential utilities like power outlets, data connectivity, and HDMI interfaces. The traditional approach often involved costly retrofits beneath the table’s center, which not only added significant expense but also limited the room's flexibility for future modifications.

In response, our team conceptualized the F-1 Table, designed between 2019-2020 in San Francisco. This table integrates a modular design that allows for various configurations, making it adaptable to both residential and commercial environments. A key innovation is the inclusion of a robust battery system, ensuring that all laptops and devices remain charged throughout meetings and presentations. The F-1 Table's design marries sleek, minimalist aesthetics with practical functionality, addressing common conference room challenges while providing a versatile, easy-to-install solution. This project reflects a commitment to form, function, and the evolving needs of modern workspaces.
